Pesta: From Dissection Table to Literary Genre

Mondino dei Luzzi, 1541The OU Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies will be hosting a lecture by Duke Pesta, Professor at Oklahoma State University, on Thursday, November 18th at 4:30 in Kaufman Hall, room 139.

The title of the presentation is: “From Dissection Table to Literary Genre: The Rise of the ‘Anatomy’ in Sixteenth-Century Science and Literature.”

Professor Pesta is no stranger to the University of Oklahoma campus; he has lectured in Norman in past years and was a research fellow in the History of Science Collections.
